With European inspired food and charm, Josh Emett and Helen’s new all day brasserie Gilt, feels right at home in the old Chancery Chambers in central Auckland.

The white textured Ambitec wall surfaces, combined with the green window joinery, the beautifully hand crafted furniture and the bespoke carpets brings about it the refined rustic elegance of yesteryear.

The restaurant, cleverly divided into unique dining spaces, has elevated dining with an oval dining table welcoming social gatherings in its private rendered wing, whilst the lower area with its sumptuous green booths, are close to the action.

Suave in Whitford White, and elegant dark white, was selected as the textured finish for the restaurant walls. This was continued through to the amenities in which cursive art and vibrant red walls entertain and delight.
